How to read the results

Monthly price is what the carrier quotes for the coverage amount, term, and health category you picked, paid each month. Rate class is the underwriting category the quote is built on; the carrier will verify it after underwriting. Exam indicates whether a paramedical visit is expected; several newer streamlined programs skip it for qualified applicants. A.M. Best reflects the carrier's credit and stability rating.
